I tried to create a Free-space profile page for an event and it didn't work.

The profile page was for the 1957 Fargo, ND F5 tornado, which was the deadliest in ND recorded history. I was born a few days before this, which is what prompted me to attempt this. I saw something about one that was disallowed because of parentheses. Is there somewhere that lists disallowed things of this sort? All I found was the link to create a Free-Space profile. Unfortunately, I accidently closed the window with the draft of my Free-Space profile and it was deleted. I know it said something about "token".  Thank you!

Yes, the dreaded "Failed Token"! I've discovered through trial and error that if you get a failed token, just save it again and it should "take." I feel like you lost a lot of information and am sorry for that. You can try to just place the minimum on your new free space then save. You can always go back once it is saved because it will be in your watchlist!

By minimum, I mean just a category or a sentence.

Lucy, thank you so much. I will try again at some point to see if multiple saves might do the trick. Yes, good suggestion to try with just a minimum of information! It is always frustrating to lose a lot of information on any site!
An alternative is to prepare the page in advance in a local plain-text editor on your own computer (something like the old Windows Notepad for example), then paste it into the WikiTree edit box. If necessary you can do this several times so as to take advantage of the preview feature, but always keeping the master copy on your own device where it is less likely to be lost.
Thank you, Jim! Yes, I don't know why I don't do that with WikiTree things. I do it for other things that I do. Thank you for the reminder to do it here!

Hope you solve your issues soon. Sounds like an exciting project.

I’m currently advocating for Wikitree to establish OES (one event studies) as a separate entity, similar to the OPS and ONS. So far, not much joy, but it’s early. Seems to me that your study would fit right into that category.  Good luck, and I hope you have a lot of fun with your creation.
