Unsure about joining a project

Namely the Quaker project. I have no known Quaker ancestors, but my some of my cousins matches do. Surnames are :

Gatley,Lankford,Langford, Crew,Stanley, Osborne, Mendenhall,Bundy,Cadwallader,
Trueblood,Boone,Coffin,Hadley,Clothier,Dutton,Burcham,Swearingen,Tipton,Jordan

Most interesting = Boone, several matches, with sources, at Ancestry and My heritage for Daniel Boone and/or his father Squire Boone

WikiTree contains significant portions of the families for a number of the surnames you have listed. This is likely the reason these show as being your cousins. If you want to further explore those, you can always post in G2G whether you have or haven't joined the Quakers project.

You don't need to have Quaker ancestors to join the project. If it's a topic that interests you and you'd like to learn more about the people who were Quakers, then jump right in. Good luck!
