Thank you!  I do have that information, but have hit a dead end when it comes to finding out more about Michael Vincent Farrell's life in Ireland, and his parents.  We believe the father is Michael Farrell, 1796-1850, and we assume he is from Longford, Ireland.  We think his mother is Mary Hawley, 1794-1872.

But there are so many Farrell's and they all seem to have the same names!  And for whatever reasons, the Irish genealogy information doesn't seem as thorough online as other family members I have researched from elsewhere.
