Need Help to expand the Ukena One Name Study

Question

I am looking for help in expanding the profiles that involve the surname Ukena.  They seem to be mainly concentrated in Germany, especially the East Frisia area, with immigration to the United States. I would love to connect as many of the profiles as possible through their Ukena ancestors and it will take some help from researchers with experience in German records.

I have created some searches that will generate lists that might give places to start.

• Ukena profiles with No Children and did not die young
• Ukena profiles with No Parents
• Complete list of Ukena Profiles

As a starting place, I have added profiles for the Ukenas I could find in the United States 1870, 1880 & 1900 and those are shown on Ukena Surname in US Census Spacepage. I also created profiles for Ukenas in Germany that I could find sources for.

A search at genealogy.net (German database) revealed Ukena entries at the following sources:

• a long list of Ukena graves in East Frisia
• 29 Ukena at the NLF database, Hannover
• 43 Ukena at the OFB Petkum
• 25 Ukena at the OFB Riepe
• 48 Ukena gravestones at „Grabsteine“ (mainly Bremen)
• 48 WWI soldiers with LNAB Ukena at „Verlustlisten 1. Weltkrieg“ (enter Ukena in the „Nachname“ field)
