b. in illinois - migrated to Saskatchewan, Canada where he died.

His son b.1918 Saskatchewan, migrated to Bellingham, Whatcom, Washington where he changed surname, died. I am in touch with his descendants who are not (yet) on wikitree.

This is early days for this Sawusch Name Study. There is much work to do to identify, link families and categorize and clean up profiles.
Any assistance, recommendations welcome, especially with German / Prussian records to use as sources to verify disambiguate profiles and establish proper categorization. FS now uses current Polish name locations in indexing records and most are only viewable at FS location. I have not yet been able to view original records. For the moment records reflect the indexed FS current geographic locations associated with the source in many Sawusch profiles. I have difficulty reading the old handwriting even when I can see the record.
Goal to link Prussian/German, possibly Poland Sawusch (and variant surname) profiles to Migrants and establish family relationships. Prussia (area now in Poland), Germany, Michigan, Illinois, Washington, Saskatchewan Canada are known surname locations. Y-DNA and au DNA for one Sawusch line currently available and linked to [[Sawusch-3|James Sawusch]]. Yes, seeking additional DNA testers both Y and AU. Please make referral to me.
