TV-USA Notables Challenge - Coworkers

Question

This month, it's time to leave the home and head over to the workplace, as we celebrate 40 of television's most beloved coworkers. From Lois Lane to Sue Ann Nivens and Mr. Mooney to Mel Sharples, these are America's favorite bosses, secretaries, and other professional colleagues.

Many of this month's notables are still in need of connecting to the Big Tree. But this is not just a connectors challenge. About a third of our notables are already connected, but their profiles are still very much in need of improvement. Others need additional family members attached, such as parents, siblings, spouses and children, in order to improve their CC7s. We need Bio Builders, Categorizers, Connectors, Data Doctors, Formatters, Photo Finders, Proofreaders, Sourcerers, and any other WikiTreers looking to have a good time upgrading these notable profiles.

I picked an easy one. When you see the surname Aldrich and the Northeast, you can bet that it will be easy to find a connection. Grin.

Major Alfred Bellows is connected. I took a fun route and found another notable that had no profile. Emma Carus was a singer/stage actress and also played Vaudeville. She was in the first run of the Ziegfield Follies in 1907. Luckily she married three times. Her first husband was the son of the Governor of Minnesota, who was already on WikiTree!

Congratulations! I loved I Dream of Jennie as a kid. As the head of the U.S. Governors Project, I'm also intrigued by the connection of Emma Carus to the Governor of Minnesota. I'll have to check that out further. 

Follow Up: Although the IMDB states that Emma's father-in-law was the Governor of Minnesota, he was actually the Secretary of State. He also served with distinction as a colonel in the Civil War and was later U.S. Consul General to India. His impress life story does qualify him as a Notable - I've added a sticker to his profile.

We are now halfway through the month and we have successfully connected ten of our television co-wokers. Fifteen are still awaiting their connection, and eight of them currently have zero family members attached to their profiles. We still have 15 days to go, so let's see what we can do.

Why are some of the entries in the table that are connected not identified as "connected"?

Our TV Star challenges are a little different than other challenges in that they are not purely Connection Challenges. Our goal is to create overall great profiles, not simply to make connections. That means we start each month with a mixture of profiles, some of which are already connected and some that are not. At the start, all boxes either read "Not Connected" or are blank. As the "Not Connected" become "Connected" we drop the "Not" and bolden them to highlight our successes.

In summary:

Blank = already connected at the start of the challenge

Not Connected = not connected at the start of the challenge

Connected = profiles connected by the team during the challenge.
