I need help.
A bit of background about how I ended up working in a bunch of local cemeteries. Over the past 3 years I transcribed and published 2400 pages of my GGrandfather’s daily journals 1879-1913. He recorded not only daily farm stuff but doings of family, neighbors, customers, vendors, friends and relatives. I developed feelings for many these folks, and since they were all marrying each other and producing families, and facing catastrophes, the local cemeteries are full of em!
I started off making profiles for the main families in the journals, then to categorizing the folks in the various cemeteries. I figured while I was there I might as well categorize the rest of the people buried there who appear in the report as well.
Because of the way my brain works, I have a hard time coping with wikitree instructions and explanations, so I am left with questions, that others might find have obvious answers.
So here goes. Using the tiny Union Cemetery as example. https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Category:Union_Cemetery,_Roseville,_California and working from the Cemetery Report https://plus.wikitree.com/function/WTCemetery/Cemetery.htm?cemetery=Union_Cemetery%2C_Roseville%2C_California
1. what do all the red entries refer to? I know it’s some kind of error, but what are the options to look for so I can correct them? As for the Philippi babies, my guess is to rename them on their wiki profile?
2. as to "No FindAGrave Memorial Found” I understand that I have to make or find a FG profile for these folks. BUT why are they divided in two sections?
3. In the FG Cemetery Section, why are there “No Category” folks who actually have a category? Im sure I put one for them before the last update.
4. what is "ales"?
Thanks for the help in advance
