The category Flaka_Lemland has just been set up by the Category Project. see https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Category:Flaka%2C_Lemland

It contains a map feature that requires a login. How do I use this?

How wonderful,  Now I get a map of the South Atlantic
It now includes Antarctica

The map feature uses the data on WikiTree+ to show the birth and death locations for each profile that uses that category. However the data is only copied from the live server to WikiTree+ once a week (I believe it happens on a Sunday night). Since this particular category was only created this week there won't yet be any profiles in WikiTree+ that use it, so the map feature won't do anything yet. If you check again in the middle of next week once the new data has been copied across and processed, hopefully the map feature will then show you some information.

Why add a general WikiTree feature which can only be used on Wikitree+?

I fixed the login problem yesterday. And it seems to be working.

Seeing the Atlantic is due to being it a new category. Maps on WikiTree+ are based on weekly database dumps. So you will have to wait until the next update is done. It starts approximately now and it is usually finished on Monday afternoon.

Thank you for responding
Tuesday.  Now it gives me Finland, three blue dots several red arrows but not Flaka, Lemland.
Zoom into Flaka location and you will see many profiles. The other two spots are migrant, that moved across Finland.
The map shows where Anders Andersson was born in Brando but is nowhere near Flaka
I did further examine the map and there are some data problems.

Am I correct, that Flaka is on Aaland islands. In GeoNames Aaland is a separate country. I will adjust the searches. Give me a day.
I updated the country table. https://wikitree.sdms.si/function/WTShowTable/Table.htm?table=Countries&filter=FIN

I did some guessing on correct forms and I guess Aland is not correct. ?

Should Åland always be followed by Finland or Suomi

How does Åaland relate to it?
The Swedish spelling is Åland.  The Åland Islands are a monolingual Swedish, autonomous part of Finland.  See https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Space:About_%C3%85land_Islands
I think locations are now better recognized. Check it out.
Yes.  It now seems to work.  I question how useful it is.  I would like to have a simple location map, like Google, which just locates where Flaka is with the option to get a camera view.  The map you have for Category Lemland is just a big red blob and a big blue blob.
For that you can use google maps. I added the coordinate and you have a link to google.

WikiTree+ Maps draws the profiles in the category on the map to see migrations.
