Profiles not open for editing

Hello,

A profile manager does not respond to many personal message requests to edit or open profiles for editing.

The manager does not give personal access(es) and does even not open profiles public of people who died more than 100 years ago.

This is very disappointing. I can not edit the profiles of my ancestors and others can’t either. Can Wikitree do anything about that?

Have you checked to see if the profile manager is active?

Yes,  Last modified 6 Oct 2023.

You can file an Open Profile Request for any profile with a death date of more than 100 years ago (or a birth date of more than 150 years ago). These profiles must be Open and will be opened promptly.

For other profiles an Unresponsive Profile Manager request can be Submitted.

Yes, you can file a Un-Responsive Manager Report. But before you do that go to the Profile Manager's profile, on that page click on their contributions, that will tell you when the person was last active on WT,

Sometimes people have not been active for years, or may have changed an email, and not notified WT.

If the person has not been active in several months it is less likely they will respond.

See below for instructions,
