Where to find NY state court proceedings

I’ve found a 1904 notice in the Plattsburgh Sentinel titled, “Supreme Court. Trial desired in Clinton County”. Any idea where to start?   It almost sounds bigger than the county historian.

You might look at the following website, which talks about hot to get old court records:

https://ww2.nycourts.gov/foil/CourtRecords.shtml#:~:text=Typically%2C%20the%20court%20in%20which,the%20records%20are%20available%20there.

It sounds like a good first step would be to reach out to the County Clerk of Clinton County.

Also, you probably know this, but, in New York, the Supreme Court is trial court.
