This thread has been reopened as there are several unresolved issues with the profiles in this family. The change of the estimated "marriage by" year to 1630 was questioned based on the current estimated births of the two eldest children.
John Barlow, wife and children, there doesn't seem to be any evidence for him being from Lancashire and the cited Larry Daniel's book is said to also come to this conclusion ("Daniels says he can find no evidence for this connection.") but I can't find access to that book. We have some children profiles showing Lancashire birth absent documentation.
I've not done a terribly deep dive on this but since we don't appear to have much other than conjecture for marriage dates on the children which may have been born in England, the birth estimates may be in error--perhaps by some margin. There are no primary sources and how Torrey arrived at his "by 1630" is uncertain although I believe that is in the ballpark (my math would probably say by 1628). Anderson does not address John Barlow in TGM, GMD or the Newsletters.
I have not looked for court testimony by any of the children which might help establish an age at a particular point in time but if this did exist, it has not been found by Jacobus or Daniels. My inclination is to revisit the estimated birth years (and place) of the children thought born in England. The Lancashire connection doesn't seem to be supported by any evidence other than common names on one document.
