On 5 Feb 2023 Phil Phillips BA Hons wrote on Howard-26622: Tempting as it might seem, the conflation of Patrick O'Toole ( Howard-26622) with Frank Howard ( Howard-26325) is not appropriate as both appear on the same 1911 Census at opposite ends of the UK with different marital status and occupations. O'Toole's subsequent re-enlistment in 1914 is at odds with Howard-26325 's occupation as a shopkeeper in Winchester in that decade. The re-enlistment is questionable as O'Toole would have been ~60 years old by then. 3 May 2023: After DNA testing of the grandson of Howard-26325 and the grandson of Frank Butler(1856-1922, born in Brittiford , Wilts, UK) and supporting circumstantial evidence from handwriting and family recollections from each grandson's relatives it is highly likely that Howard-26325 is a fictional persona adopted by Frank Butler to mask two bigamous marriages, a persona drawn from merging his employer's name (Sir Ralph Howard, Bt) with the arbitrary "Greville" to form his "father" on a marriage certificate and reinforced by Census records for 3 censuses.
