I am working on my 4x Great grand father [[Ogilvie-884|David Ogilvie]] In his daughter's birth registration it says he is a Gun driver Artillery. I have a few questions.
Is there muster rolls available for The Royal Artillery Drivers? (She was born 1805 in North Leith, Midlothian, Scotland)
I have found a mention of David Ogilvie in the UK, Royal Hospital Chelsea Returns of Payment of Army and Other Pensions, 1842-1883. It states this man was a bombardier in the Military Regiment: 3rd B Artillery could this possibly be my man? The birth years match.
