Hi Peter!  Welcome to WikiTree! I am Dave Draper and I am delighted to see you introducing yourself on the G2G forum.

There are over 21,000 Ford names in the database, already profiled here. So there are two things going on here:

Your personal pedigree  (Your personal family tree ) and the "Community Tree""

By adding your pedigree, grand fathers and grand mothers, there is a great chance you will "merge" with one of the Ford already profiled here!  When that happens, you will be connected to the "Big Tree"!  Now your tree becomes one with the world wide Wikitree!

There is a connection finder tool that will become active, once you make a connection, and you be able to see the movie stars, Presidents, Kings & Queens, and distant cousins you are related to by blood, or connected by marriages.

Please keep adding your ancestors, and we can help you fill in the blanks if you get stuck.  Everything is Free on Wikitree.  We are all excited to help, because you could be our cousin!
