This is really a great video to stimulate interest in WikiTree.  I try to help my work mates and friends get into and onto WikiTree, and this video can explain it much better!

I am going to park the link on my profile page so I have it ready to go tomorrow at work!

Excellent!  I appreciate the bit about the strict sourcing like historians for early ancestors.  It's important to set those expectations early when people first start learning about WikiTree.

Am I the only one who clicked on the YouTube video on my iPhone and couldn't get rid of it ? Cleared Safari history, twice, and now  whenever I tap on my sleeping iPhone, there it is like an alert, ready to tap on, and I can't get rid of it.

Sorry to hear of an issue with your device, Joan. I haven't heard anything so far and not experiencing it myself. Did you have the YouTube app on your phone? Clicking on it opens the video in YouTube for me. az

No I don't have a YouTube app, it just opens in Safari. Viewing it wasn't a problem. The problem is how to get rid of the video banner for it that still appears on the sleep (normally blank except for alerts) screen before I swish up to get to the apps screen.

Found it. The iPhone  switched to playing it in iTunes, and in that app I  was able to close it it properly

I love the video! It covers all the important features - one family tree, collaboration, sourcing, and DNA research - all in 90 seconds. Great job!

Good one, well done. Like, how it addresses the different target groups collaborating on the platform! The word international could have been mentioned a bit more often, though...
