I need help with reading a Dutch Marriage Record

I have a marriage record from the Reformed Dutch church in new Amsterdam, and a part of it I cannot figure out. Here is how it actually is printed (although I cannot get the exact superscripts).

Johannes Hofman, Wed[superscript r], met Elsje Margrite Anhúizen, beide úit H. Duidsl[superscript colon], woonende alhier.

I suspect  that Duidsl[superscript colon] is a surname, but I have been unable to find anything even remotely like it anywhere. According to Google Translate, “duid” comes out as “point.” in German normally, an H. stands for the word Herr, but I’m not sure about 17th century Dutch.

Duidsl is not a surname, it means Duitsland (Germany)

Johannes Hofman and Elsje Margrite Anhuizen, both from H. (?) Germany. They are living there,

I think H. stans for huidig Duitsland ( current Germany), but Im not sure

wiewaswie says Hoog-Duitsland

dank jewel Sjaak. Ik denk dat "wie was wie" het juist heeft
Then that’s similar to Hoch Deutsch and Platt Deutsch? Which refers to the dialect of German. Or does “High Germany” mean something else? Johannes is listed as a widower, but I cannot find a previous marriage record for him in New Netherland. So I assume that his first wife was German.
Hello

I don t know about Hoog-Duitsland sir, neither does google. Perhaps Sjaak Spijkerman can tell us more about it, he posted an internet link.

Im not so experienced on wikitree. I know some things about the Dutch language.

But I will look into the profile of Johannes Hofman and see if I can answer your other questions

Have a nice evening.

Greetings Richard from Rotterdam
The only thing I found about Hoog-Duitsland is this, like you already stated above. I found it when I typed like this in google: hoogduitsland.

The rest of your questions I can t answer because I found differences in the data of the profiles and the data on the internet. Im also not sure if I found the right persons, but they got about the same names. This is what I found so far.
