Delete profile altogether?

Person listed as father for child born illegitimately. How to delete altogether?   -- mathac [email address redacted]

Profiles cannot be deleted but relationships can be disconnected. Click on the "edit" tab for the child and click on "replace/remove" near the name of the father. If, however, the sources support the man was the father of the child, the connection should remain in place.

The "person listed as father" is not identified, which may be a good thing if he is still living, as we do not discuss living persons in this public forum.

Nelda is correct about profiles not being deleted here, but there is an exception.  If there is a profile here for a living person who objects to it being here, then it can be deleted.  If this is the case then please write to info @ wikitree.com (without the spaces) to ask for the profile to be deleted.
