New (I think) access bug

Question

While working on my great grandfather's profile, when I clicked on an image in it, the correct URL was displayed in the address window but the page displayed only the following error message:

Access Denied

You need to log in to access files on this server. 

I observed that I still had all the tabs showing in the profile, so I clicked Edit and was presented with the edit page, where I made a few changes and successfully saved my work.  I also have no problem posting in G2G.

I logged out and back in and the same situation still exists.

When I go to the (open) page where the image is stored, I can click on it to display the image's (public) page.  When I click on the image there, the full size image (which is where the original link that doesn't work points) is correctly displayed.

On the page you have:

The link parameter is incorrect. The correct URL for the PNG is /4/44/ not /7/74/: https://www.wikitree.com/photo.php/4/44/GraphicFileStorage-2.png

Thank you Steven.  I had not noticed that, which certainly explains why there was an error when trying to access the image page ... but I know that in 2015 when I created and uploaded the image, I got that link from the page and pasted it into the template code in a few profiles to which it applies, and I guarantee that I verified that it worked then.

I don't know if the numbers in the URL changed since then, nor do I understand why the error message would not say that the page does not exist instead of implying that it does exist and I am not logged in.

The error wording could definitely be updated! It took me a few to figure it out since I knew the message was incorrect.
