He is not in the Verlustlisten 1. Weltkrieg at https://des.genealogy.net/eingabe-verlustlisten/. Maybe at http://www.denkmalprojekt.org/ - perhaps you can add a profile for this person to Wikitree. With a little bit more background information (birth dates & location, death dates and location) one can maybe explore some other sources.

Here is a picture of the dog tag >>>Dog Tag<<<

Hi L!  When you want to share a picture that is in a link, you can't just post the link here.

Step 1: Copy the link to your clipboard

Step 2. Ask A Question ( or Answer if you want post it in some one else's post)

Step 3.  In the field where you type your answer, look up to the horizontal menu running left to right:  You see

B I U S x2 x2 | A A | link icon <<<<< click on the link icon

Step 4  Paste link into the URL field

Step 5 type the title of the link in the description box

Step 6. If you want to post a picture of one of your pics uploaded to your profile on WikiTree, it won't display here either.  You have to create a Free Space Page, upload your pictures to that page, set the PRIVACY to OPEN.  (Pictures pick up the privacy setting where they are uploaded.  Your profile privacy is locked and so is every picture you upload to that page. They will not display!)

If the upload program says the picture is already uploaded, save the picture under a different name and upload it again.

Then to post the picture on the G2G forum, you have to again post the new question ( or Answer post) and in the field where you type the text, look up above to the menu icons and Click on the picture Icon box.  It looks like a square with a picture of a mountain and sun

You are not done yet! read on>

In another window, open your free space page where the picture is stored

Click on the picture TWICE (yes two times) The picture displays on a black background and that is the url address you copy.

Come back to your post on the G2G, past the picture url in the Picture Icon Box and then set the width to 450 or smaller (otherwise it will be so big it will annoying everyone!)  You will see a preview of the picture.

Hope this helps!wink
