I have gotten a lot of good information from Family Search.  I always check the source when it is available, but without that information in the first place, I wouldn't have had any idea that it existed.  If it proves wrong, then I don't use it.  There were NO on-line sources that I found when I first got on the internet that you didn't have to pay for, except Family Search. I had belonged to several Genealogical Societies, and roamed from Library to church to Library to church for my research also.

Yes there is much good info to be found once checked for validity. Online sources have made such a huge difference.
