I have no idea how, could someone help with this adoptions request please.

Next question, isn't DNA for the mother's side, so how would one find the biological father.

Third question - my adopted family was removed from my profile as wikitree only allows one family. Would someone like me to turn my profile into an adoptee profile and add all the stings and vines please.

Hi. I helped a DNA match on ancestry discover how she was related to the family. Her grandmother was put in foster care and later adopted. I found who her grandmothers birth parents were but then I discovered there was another sibling and I don't know how to find that sibling. This is her grandmothers profile. https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Patenaude-979

DNA is not just from the mother's side.

Y-DNA - father's side
mtDNA - mother's side
autosomal DNA - both sides, but doesn't go back as far

autosomal DNA - both sides, but doesn't go back as far

so which DNA test is suitable or does go back further.

It is stupidly expensive in the country I live in and I don't want to have to do it again

Start with autosomal (Ancestry is a good one), which will take you back to your great great grandparents.
