New members & privacy

Hello everyone!

This weekend, I had a family gathering, and I ended up chatting with my sister-in-law and my aunt by marriage who were both happy to give me info on their families so I can add them to WikiTree and work on my "circles."

Obviously, their profiles and those of their living family members are closed for privacy.

I would like to show them what I've done with the info though, because they seem interested even though they don't really have time to spend on genealogy themselves (+ I'm pretty sure my aunt almost doesn't speak any English at all, so that would make participating on WT very tedious anyway.)

So I was wondering, if I invite them by linking their e-mail address to their profile, will they automatically be able to see private profiles linked to their own? Otherwise, is there a way for me to add them to the trusted list of many profiles at once, or do I have to do it one by one? It would be a shame if they couldn't even seen their own parents!

You are looking for the Bulk Trusted List Tool. This will allow you to add someone else to the Trusted Lists of profiles on your Watchlist if they would be interested in following them.
