May need help setting up a new category

Question

I have an ancestor who served in the War of 1812. His company was

Mitchusson's Regiment, Kentucky Detached Militia, 1st Company

which I can't find.  Is there another category I should use or do I need to create this one?

ETA:  I found the correct category but it looks like the commander's name may be misspelled.  Mitchusson vs. Mitchisson.

The document has it spelled with an "I" so that needs some research.

I am unable to find the 14th Regiment as Mitchusson's Regiment of Kentucky Detached Militia, War of 1812.  A Capt. Alney McLean commanded a company in the First Regiment Kentucky Mounted Militia, commanded by Lieutenant-Colonel Samuel Caldwel in 1812. In 1814 he is found enlisting to command a company in Kentucky Detached Militia, commanded by Lieutenant-Colonel William Mitchusson and is found in the Battle for New Orleans.
