Merge Issue? [closed]

Question

I initiated a merge between

https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Destroismaisons_Picard-29  and https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Des_Trois_Maisons_dit_Picard-2  . The system jumped right to recording my approval without asking for a reason and the merge is not showing up at the bottom of the profiles. Am I doing something wrong or is this a weird little glitch??

Not showing up in my watchlist under pending merges either?

That's because you are the PM of one of the profiles.  It is recording your proposing *and* your approval at the same time.

As for it not showing in your Watchlist - give it time.  The system has to  work its magic first - might even be up to the standard 24 hours.

Thanks, I have done many merges but don't remember that happening before. But then I have not had to merge one of my own profiles for quite some time.
