Best way to make a word document available as a source in several profiles. [closed]

I have been given a 4,000 + word RTF file of the transcript of a will.  This is a source establishing the existence of a common law partner and their illegitimate children.  It is a reference relevant to all of the family in all of their profiles.

What is the easiest way to link to this document so that other Wikitree users can read it?

You can save it as a .pdf and upload as an image, then connect to all the relevant profiles from the image edit page or you can copy it to a free space page and link that to each profile.

Kathie's right - you have to convert it to a pdf file in order to upload it to WikiTree.  In case you need to know the easiest way to do that:

  1. Since you have Word, open the document in Word.
  2. Instead of trying to SaveAs, you can Print the document.
  3. In the box to select the printer, select Microsoft Print to PDF.
  4. You will be asked for the file name and location to save the pdf file.
  5. After that, you can click the Print button and it will happen.

If I want to convert a word document to pdf, I simply export it.
