Deedmapper 4.2

I received a software program for Christmas called DeedMapper 4.2. I am still trying to figure out.  You input the parameters of a parcel of land and it maps it for you.  Then you can overlay parcel on a topographical map of the area.  Just wondering if anyone else had tried it.  Is there a more user friendly program available?

I've done things like this online to look up plat maps and such, but the availability and system varies from state to state in the U.S., often county by county. For historical plat maps, it's still best to try to individually contact a historical society in that county or town.

If you want a topographical map or aerial view of an area, I like mapper.acme.com, but it doesn't have parcel lookup.
