Fridays are for Dating!

No need to swipe right or left! We're looking for lonely profiles without dates, and we need your help!

Two weeks ago, Friday Date Nighters hit the goal of dating 10,000 profiles for the year ... and then some. We're now at 10,572 (and we're about 3,000 profiles ahead of last year this time).

You can help us continue the trend by joining us this week to find and date profiles that need 'em.

We'll meet on Zoom, as usual, to get caught up on each other's progress, answer questions, and have a little fun. Then we'll head off to date those profiles and share our victories on Discord (look for the #friday-date-night channel).

Helpful hint: You don't have to wait until the Zoom call to date profiles. :-)

This "challenge" is just for fun (and to benefit the tree), so we're not keeping score, but we do keep track of our progress. Join in to share some social time with your fellow WikiTreers and know that you're helping to make WikiTree better!

I gotta say, this post had me grinning from ear to ear! No swiping required, huh? I'm in!

I was part of the Zoom call a few weeks back and it was such a blast. We laughed, we connected, and we dated profiles like there was no tomorrow. So, hearing that we're over 10,000 for the year – and even ahead of last year's pace – is just fantastic! Looks like Friday Date Nighters are on a roll!

Just thinking about it makes me excited for the upcoming Zoom call. I can't wait to catch up with everyone, have a good laugh, and then dive into dating more profiles.

And yes, I remember the hint! I've been squeezing in some profile dating between my daily chores. Every profile deserves a date, right?

So, I'm super psyched to join you all this week. Let's keep the momentum going, reach new heights, and have a bunch of fun while doing it!

Patrick! I'm so glad you had such a good time. We have a terrific group of people who like to work on the dates, and we're always happy to have new faces join us. :-)
