The Connecticut State Library has a web page that list deaths that occurred between 1711 and 1892 in Connecticut, and were of an "untimely" nature. The table of deaths can be sorted by "Surname", "Death year", "Death location", "Cause of death", etc. The table also has a column for "Remarks" which sometimes contains additional information. There are over 2,500 deaths listed in the table,.
