Do you want to help a fellow WikiTreer increase their CC7?
As part of our 15th Anniversary celebration in 2023, we're holding a series of We Will RAWK You events. It's a lot like the WikiTree Challenge except that our goal is to work on the branches of five fellow WikiTree members.
RAWK stands for Random Acts of WikiTreer Kindness.
For our first We Will RAWK You event in March, we worked on the branches of Gill Whitehouse, Cindy Cooper, Bart Molier, Gaile Connolly, and Erin Robertson. Over the course of a month, our zealous team of RAWKERS increased the collective CC7 of these five WikiTreers by 1,659!!!
How it works:
There are four more We Will RAWK You events planned for 2023 - June, August, October and December.
A month before each of these events, we will put out a call in G2G for RAWK nominations. This is your opportunity to nominate another WikiTreer to be a potential participant in the We Will RAWK You Event.
After nominations close, The WikiTree Events Committee will randomly pick five of the nominated WikiTreers who will then get to be RAWKED.
A month prior to each event, we will also put out a call in G2G for RAWKERS, WikiTreers who would like to help work on the lines of the five participants. That's what this post is for!
On the 1st of June, we'll kick off the next We Will RAWK You Event. Everyone who signed up to help with research will have one month to work to see how much they can increase the CC7 numbers for the five nominated WikiTreers.
There are stickers for those who are RAWKED and for the RAWKERS.
Note: Members of the WikiTree Team are not eligible for nomination.
