Sometimes a story stops you in your tracks

Last week I came across an empty profile for a Guyanese/British notable, adding him to several categories so that he wouldn't be lost.

He came up again today as a profile with no connections so today was the day that I wanted to change that smiley

... I found the story of his wife Didi who survived a concentration camp, but whose father and brother did not...

She wrote her own story and added it to the website of her famous husband so that her family would be remembered. And I'm so glad she did. She describes what happened to them and there are lovely family photos in the pdf download. I've created Didi's profile but would love someone to take over as PM and to honour her family by finding the right records from Teplice, Czechoslovakia

The above archive has records for Teplice in Bohemia. If this is the right town, there are no Jewish records among the church books for it. However, there are a number places with Teplice as part of the name, so it might not be the right location.

Edit …

The image is not visible, so here is the link to the website for the Archive. http://vademecum.soalitomerice.cz/vademecum/

Edit #2…

Here are some links for Jewish resources in the Czech Republic https://www.familysearch.org/en/wiki/Czechia_Jewish_Records
