Various Alexander Hamilton families in County Monaghan Ireland

Between 1700 and 1800 there were quite a number of Alexander Hamilton families in the County Monaghan. I suspect that that they were probably related and had large numbers of children, with so many first names common. In my tree there is Alexander [1803-1889] & Martha Parks [1813-1875], and in Joan Hunter's tree there is Alexander [abt1745-?] & Martha Nielson [abt1750-?] who went to Canada in 1830 with their children. Death and birth certificates have not been seen yet, which should help.

Can anyone assist with information please?

Doug Hamilton.
