Help with Gates Surname DNA Project free space profile setup [closed]

Question

I have created: https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Space:Gates_Surname_DNA_Project -- and I wish to tag it appropriately, to attract other members who want to discuss this topic.

Ideally I would like to advocate a particular method for maintaining a higher level of validity than mere speculation, and apply the biological arbitrariness of DNA.  This method extends beyond autosomal matching, with segment attribution or not, using Y-DNA testing.  It would also be used to validate haplogroups, and private variant mutations.

Any help is welcome.

I ended up deleting the profile, unhappy with its pre-supplied contents.

You might want to look at the Estes page for ideas.

Mags's page is helpful.  And roughly where I'm at, but wanting to do it a bit further, and also help leverage, and ease the transition, from autosomal DNA.
