Claude seems to have two profiles, so i suggested a merge.

What would be the right thing to do with the accent on the final e of their family name?

huh!  I keep tagging this question with the 'french_roots' tag, and it keeps showing as 'france'

It was most likely 300 years since this family was in France.  Apologies to anyone reading this thinking it was going to be related to France.

Shirlea, try french_roots with an underscore, not a hyphen.

i'm selecting it from the suggestions, not typing it myself, but yes you are right it needs the underscore. I'll edit my question so it doesn't confuse the tech people.
I've seen your other question.  It is indeed weird that french_roots morphs into france.
I just got an answer over on the other question. Seems it was a conscious decision to re-route the french_roots tag.

baptismal record needs to be found to answer your question, as gravestones are not going to give that data.  What is the LNAB in fact?  Is it Lagasse, Lacasse, Lagassé, Lagacé?

Thanks, Danielle!  yes, could be any of them, couldn't it!

This one has me confused. I saw the Find-a-Grave page that shows the headstone of both Ronald and Claude. They obviously were buried together but I do not believe that they were brothers. I just read Armand Georges Lagasse's obituary in the Winnipeg Free Press and it states that Armand was predeceased by his son Ronald in 1969 and his 2 brothers Denis and Osias. It seems to me that if Claude was Armand's son, he would also have been mentioned. I am thinking that Claude and Ronald were possibly cousins. I have come across a Claude Lagasse born 21 Sep 1950 and died 09 Sep 1969. This Claude is said to be the son of Wilfrid Paul Lagasse and Marie Lourdes Lavoie. There aren't any records attached to the profiles to verify parents.

Thanks Celeste!  Very interesting!  Could you attach a link to the obit for Armand to Armand's profile?
You're welcome Shirlea! I have posted the link to the obit in the comments section of Armand's profile.
Thanks so much!
You're welcome!
