Fictitious Profile?

This profile has been cannibalized by so many other profiles of Jacob Carters, that there is no evidence to support that this person ever existed.  No one wants to merge this individual into their profile, for obvious reasons.  Is there any way to make it "disappear?"

US Southern Colonies project adding PMP/PPP and uncertain existence template. Will try to get more eyes on this profile.

Thanks, Ken. Don’t think the PPP took.
The project lead adds that after I've taken the first step of adding the project box and adding the profile to a spreadsheet we keep of all project profiles. Should appear within a few days.
Got it, wasn’t sure of the USSC protocol on it,

If the profile has become such a mish-mash that nothing on it is of value, you have at least a couple of options to consider.

First, if this conflation is commonly found in the world of internet genealogy, the best thing may be to leave the profile as is but start it through the Disproven Existence process (I added that tag to your question). That will ultimately show that the person did not exist yet leave the profile in place so it and the problem are not recreated anew.

Second, if you can ascertain which parts of the profile would be valid for a single individual, you can remove the other data and then attempt to merge it into an existing profile that the remaining data points support.

The problem is, as I stated in my question, that no one wants to merge this profile into their "correct" profile and keep rejecting the merges I have already proposed.
I see that this potentially involves a DNA controversy and that it falls under US Southern Colonies so I am adding both tags to your question.

Are you thinking this profile should be merged away rather than become a disproven existence profile? I don't know the answer but what is your opinion on that since you have been working on this for some time?

If the profile you have linked above is stripped down so that it is essentially the same as another profile and has the same (or no) attached relationships, and the merge continues to be rejected without reason, then file a Member Intervention Request since this saga has been ongoing. None of the profiles are properly sourced. None of the profiles appear to meet WT DNA criteria.

In the meantime, perhaps US Southern Colonies project will step in here and see if some progress can't be made.  DNA should have a look as well given the apparent controversies in that area.
