Captcha system removed from NSW BDM website

Question

Hi, has anyone else noticed that the Captcha system has been removed from the NSW BDM search engine? Sitting here tonight doing some searches and suddenly realised it wasn't coming up!

I agree. It was haphazard: sometimes you just had to tick it; on other occasions you had to solve several times in a row. Quite annoying. I wonder if anyone was actually scraping the records robotically. Anyhow I'm glad it's gone.

There is a little - almost hidden - notice that the page / site is "protected by reCAPTCHA".  Much better.

Fantastic news!! Thanks for letting us know, Brad. I had kind of got used to it, but I found it quite exhausting trying to make out the little images.
