How do I remove my exact birthdate from my family tree which is public? [closed]

Question

I'm talking about where anyone can click on "Here is my family tree" and you list my exact birthdate there, then my parents and grandparents and so on.  On the profile, it's just a decade as a birthdate.  Shouldn't it just be just a decade on the family tree?  I'm still a living person.  Privacy please.

You can remove it entirely, if you hold any concerns.  Just leave the field blank, and click the "blank for extra privacy" radio "button".

Can you find this public view button on your profile? It will let you check what other people can see (who aren't on the trusted list and signed in). You could also sign out and have a look. If you are in public view, click the dark colored ancestor bar to see your family tree, or descendants to you those- your public dates should be visible in both views.

Thank you Anonymous but Melanie is correct.  I'm the only one who can see my exact birthdate.  I tried it on my friend's tablet and it just showed decades.

Wikitree relationship finder tells me that you and I are 9th cousins. We are both descended from Jeremiah Beal-254. I live just off of Beale St. in Quincy, about a 20 min drive from where Jeremiah was born in 1655.
