Help with Pella Blade Iowa Newspaper Story on Tragic Drowning?

I would appreciate any help from a Wikitreer with access to newspaper stories and obituaries published in the Pella Blade Newspaper, Iowa, on 14 June 1887.

I am looking for a digital copy of a "long story" published about the tragic drowning in the Des Moines River near Harvey, Marion County, Iowa, on 9 June 1887 of three teenage boys:

[[McAdoo-726|Morie McAdoo aka McAdow (1868-1887)]] Find A Grave: Memorial #144764384 or age 18 and

his younger brother [[McAdoo-721|Richard McAdoo (1872-1887)]] Find A Grave: Memorial #144764341 age 15, both buried at Porter Grove Cemetery and

their cousin Oliver Perry Thomas, age 13, buried at Black Oak Cemetery, Mahaska County, Iowa, FGID: 31479563.

Trying, but no luck yet. I have ancestors in Black Oak Cemetery.  Many in Mahaska County. Also one with first and second name ʻOliver Perryʻ.   I will keep trying.

Not much help, but maybe the article you want can be found in this archive.

To save other people looking, I can confirm that the Pella Blade is not covered by newspapers.com.
Yep, Jim - thatʻs the first place I looked. Funny, though, I did see the Pella Blade referred to in another Iowa paper. Still, no help! I should have mentioned that I looked.

It was a little bit harder to find because the name is spelled McAdow in the article.  See "A sad drowning" at link.

Thank you so very much Kerry, that article is exactly what I was looking for. The names McAdoo and McAdow were frequently interchanged by the family in those days.

I didn't find anything for the Pella Blade (not covered by Newspapers.com).  But I did find a short story in the Des Moines Daily Register for 10 June 1887.  I've downloaded it and can email it to you, if you don't already have a copy.
