New member introducing myself

Question

I am a new member interested in the WISE family of Lincolnshire, England. My earliest ancestor is Joseph Wise born circa 1748 I assume. I cannot find any reference to his birth. He was married to Elizabeth Bowring on the 10th January 1776 in Horsington, Lincolnshire, England. I am his 4th Great Grandson.

Thank you Shirlea. I do have a Mary Wise baptised 11th October 1785 in Donnington, Lincolnshire but as she had a sister born in 1798 in Heckington Lincolnshire also named Mary my assumption is the first Mary died between 1785 and 1798. The second Mary married William Roberts on the 2nd July 1815 in Heckington Lincolnshire so that does not tie in either. Thanks anyway. Cheers John Wise
