In the Asa Todd (1817-1904) post, it is stated that he had no siblings or that siblings are unknown.  Family lore has it that he had (probably) one brother, my namesake, Walker Todd (1822-1906) and perhaps another brother, William Jefferson Todd (1814-1857).  DNA tests, however, suggest that Jefferson Todd might be a cousin who lived with the family, not  a brother.  The three, Jefferson, Asa, and Walker, all seemed to have treated each other as brothers.  â€”Walker Todd

Hey Walker, welcome. I have found great uncles that lived 80 miles from me for almost 50 years that I did not know existed, until I started doing research. I suspect my 4th great grandfather has two or three more offspring I have yet to find. I find additions quite often. You will never know what you don't know. Sounds like some family secrets in Asa's story. Did mom and dad raise their nephew or just dad? Anything is possible.
