He did well to marry twice and have six children by the time he was 25!  I have a possible 1561 death date (from FindAGrave Index

By the way, FindAGrave is not regarded as a reliable source for pre-1700 profiles unless there is something like an image of an actual memorial. Much of the information on the site is comparable in (un)reliability to family trees on the web.

That clearly indicates, with citations, that he was alive in 1547 and that his son succeeded him "ante  8  March  1552" as "son  of  the  deceased  Robert  Brus  of  Erth"
