I was able to Source Military Service, Could Use Help with Family Links

Hi. I came upon the profile of Adam Kimmel who was an unsourced Lieutenant in the American Revolutionary War. I was able to source his military service using the DAR/GRS. I am not having much luck with connecting him to his children and wife. He is also a Palatine Migrant, and it would be great to find out more regarding his immigration to America.

Is there anyone out there who might have more information? There is supposed to be an Orphan's Court document, but I was unable to read it or source it.

Thank you in advance for any help you can give with sourcing this Revolutionary War Veteran and early Palatine Migrant.

The public is able to request copies of the DAR records.  You can contact the DAR offices at 1-800-449-1776 and they can connect you to the research library people.  It may cost you a bit per page and for the research and mailing costs.

You will need to have his ancestor number, as shown on his membership page on the DAR Sticker.

When members apply, they are supposed to provide both the children of the Patriot along with their dates of birth, death and any spouse information including dates of marriage.

Thanks, Tammy! I was able to find the Orphan's Court record that named his nine children. At least this is something that his descendants can use to link up with him.
So glad that you were able to find the information!
