How to turn off the save draft extension

I already notified Accessibility Angels and did not receive a response.

How to turn off the save draft extension so that it doesn't flash every minute (or some period of time).  It creates a medical issue. Please turn it off.

Thanks.

The save draft feature is not part of an extension.

It is hard coded into the website.

If you can add the Tech tag to this post, maybe there is a conversation to be had with the core code team about removing the flashing while still allowing the drafts to happen in the background.

There is no tech tag: it was blocked a while back. Tags to consider would have been  bugs  or   improvements  , but since Jamie has now answered this has become moot.

Is it just the "saving" message in the upper right corner that is an issue, or are there other problems you are having?
by Jamie Nelson G2G6 Pilot (634k points)
Yes in the upper right area.  Now covering with a cloth but it impedes further use of access to anything in that area.  I would prefer to discuss privately but so far have not found the appropriate party to discuss.  This is an ADA Americans with Disabilities Issue and needs immediate attention.

Thank you.
Lee, please note that no team member or volunteer will be able to help you if it's a legal issue.

Similarly, medical issues can't be addressed in an informal way. These issues are for lawyers and doctors.

If this isn't a legal or medical issue, Jamie may be able to speak to you more about it. It's possible that something could be worked into the browser extension if that is a possibility for you.

The only time it turns green (from being greyed out) is when you have entered text in the explain your changes box.  As far as I know, it does not 'flash'.  Or am I wrong?

The indicator that a draft save is being done could be seen by some as "flashing".

Thank you for all your responses.  Internet is really slow in my area and I don't know how to tag the tech team so I contacted the main team and received the following helpful response, although I have not heard back from the Tech Team:
