Clicking Full Save just when a draft is saved hangs the full save

Question

Several times since I joined WikiTree, including just now, if I click Full Save just when the system has decided to do a draft save, the screen freezes at "Saving," and the full save does not complete. Fortunately, the draft is saved.

Using Firefox 121.0 (64-bit) on updated Windows 10, Asus laptop.

Occasionally happens to me as well.  Last few days.  Seems to save anyway.   I do try to remember hit save draft before a full save.  Sometimes I forget to do so.

Thanks for workarounds, but I already know how to get around the bug. I'm reporting it because it ought to be fixed, not worked around. I don't think it should be hard to prevent a conflict between draft save and full save and to give priority to one or the other.

I remember that issue from awhile ago... I tend to save a draft just before I full save so that that issue does not occur.

Something similar happens to me ie I click on 'Full Save' just as the system decides to save a draft.  All I do is then click on 'Full Save' again, and it does it properly.

When that happens, I close the profile, then reopen it and hit edit and use previously saved draft.

I should think that a Save being overridden by the automatic Draft Save happens to us all now and then. As far as I can recall it has been that way ever since the draft saves were introduced.

Like Ros, I just let the draft save do its work and then hit the Full Save again, no problem.

I can imagine that in some circumstances depending on device and system it can cause a freeze, though.
