Help before Merge proposal

Hello WikiFamily. I have an interest in ancient genealogy and want to tap into the knowledge base regarding some Pre-1500s profiles which may or may not need to be merged.

The profiles I am tentatively thinking about proposing a merge for are Palaiologina-3 and Comnena-9. These two (?) people were the wife/wives of Isaac Angelos II; Byzantine Emperor. Can anybody clarify for me whether the two women listed in this thread are the same person? Isaac Angelos II had two, possibly three wives. I am not pre-1500 certified so cannot make any changes.

Isaac II is pretty funny in that his first act as emperor was to issue a tax to finance one of his weddings. His reign is in the era of the founding of the second Bulgarian empire.

In any case, those are definitely representations of the same person. Isaac II married Margaret of Hungary in 1185. (Yes, she was that young.)

Someone gave the one profile of Herine the birthplace of Margaret. Eirene/Herine's origin is not known. (Although of course there has been much conjecture based on what is known.)

The merge has been sitting as an unmerged match for three years.  This unfortunately is what happens when people decide to move a proposed merge to an unmerged match -- they get forgotten and there are no reminders anywhere about it.  I have reproposed the merge.  Hopefully, an interested party can research and determine what the LNAB should be and then get the profiles merged.  I am not familiar with this family and thus don't know.  Thanks for mentioning it.
