Hugh Elliott

Question

Looking for info on marriage of Hugh Elliott, b 1809 Ireland, d 1898 in Pa.  On death certificate of his son James, mother is listed as Barbara Nicholson.   Antother son, John b 1839 Ireland .....on his death certificate his mother is listed as Barbara Trotter.    Nothing is known of any of these women....help would be appreciated.

Do you have the name of John Elliott's wife and where he lived in PA? Would you have a marriage year and county, and or city location? What was the year of his death and location?

I am having a difficult time finding Barbara Nicholson and Barbara Trotter. I assume they were both born in Ireland. Maybe Barbara Trotter traveled with her family to PA. The more info that you can supply, the more likely an answer to your question can be found. Thank you.

Thanks for the info......As far as we know, John Elliott b 1834+-Ireland, d 1913 Pa was never married.   He lived in Scranton Pa in the 1900's and in London in 1898 when his brother, Hugh b 1809 d.1898 died.  I have the census for him and death info.  Not much is known of him when and where he lived in The Nicholson and Trotter families are still a mystery to us, but we will keep looking.   Thanks again for your input.
