Pre-1700 Macklem Profiles

I am trying to do a ONS on the surname Macklem (aka Macklin in one branch). In order to connect the two main branches of Macklems that ended up in Canada, I had to add the first known Macklem, James b abt 1669 and sons James (Jamsie) b abt 1695 and William b abt 1699. Their birth dates make them pre-1700 profiles. The may have been born in England but the family ended up at some point near Ardcan, Donaghedy, Tyrone, Ireland. (Source: https://www.familysearch.org/library/books/viewer/324782/?offset=2#page=4&viewer=picture&o=&n=0&q= ).

After reading the pre-1700 guidelines, it is clear that I should not have added these profiles yet as I do not have any original documented sources for them as of now. What should I do?

The thing to do is search for better sources for James, as he is most likely to be mentioned in historical sources. The very early individuals probably won't be connected and thus of less use. You can also use the usual method of working back from the earliest documented profile.

Deleting profiles isn't something that's done on WikiTree, so you should leave them as is for now and work with them.
