How do I delete a person I created by mistake?

I created five profiles based on a census that I now realize is wrong. How do I delete these profiles?

Were they real people?  

Was the census for those people, and you thought it was for someone else?

Was the census for other people, and you somehow got the names wrong?

I got confused about Timothy Hannagan born 1797 and found a 1851 England census with his name and another person that fit, but the Timothy in the census would have been born in 1831. So I created profiles for all his siblings, but of course they are not the siblings of the right Timothy, and now I don't know how to delete them. They are real people but not the right people for my family group. :(

Are they attached to each other as a family group?

Hi Francesca. We almost never delete profiles. Instead, you can disconnect the new profiles from the original Timothy one. See this help page, and ask again if you need more advice.
