I uploaded a photo to a profile. I didn't like it so I edited it and wanted to upload the revised image. I want to delete the first image. While posting this, I realized that my photos don't appear in Public View. I thought they did. So they are invisible.
Q: How do I delete a photo image added by me?
I guess the photos ARE invisible to everyone. I MUST insert a photo into the text for anyone to see it. A photo can have three uses:
- Primary
- Profile
- Inside Text
For anyone to see my photo, it must be in one of those three "places". Do I have to insert the Photo into the Text? Or can I make a link to them? I'm triying this as I go---tried the insert Photo inside text on the right. I'm making progress. I guess I have to go back to all my profiles and Insert photos into Text.
Now my other related topic.
There are photos already on WikiTree: such as flags and battle sketches. I saw a photo of a lithograph of the Battle of Lookout Mountain.
Q: How do I add these images to a profile page? Do I use the same program code to insert it?
But now I can't even find where that image is located on WikiTree. Where are they?
{edited} I checked a profile of a past ancestor and the Photos do appear in the Right Margin without using the insert Photo Inside Text. Q: Is the insert into Text only required for Profiles of living people?
