I have circumstantial sources that lead me to believe that Lyman Allison was interred beside his first wife, Katherine Deyoe in the Coloma Township Cemetery in Rock Falls. She’s in Section 14, Lot 19, according to Find a Grave. However, his date of death was never engraved on the stone, so I can’t be certain he was buried there. (I have the death info, but nothing specific about his burial.)
Meanwhile, I’ve been having to disentangle him on Find a Grave from a Corporal Lyman J Allison who was born in Chicago and died in France in 1918.
If there’s some kind-hearted soul who could check the cemetery’s records to see if he is actually in Coloma Cemetery, I’d be forever grateful.
