Question

Hi, I'm Francesca Murphy and I've only recently started researching my family tree. Please be patient with me while I learn the lay of the land and ask basic questions.

I've already run into several brick walls researching my ancestors in England, Ireland, and Italy. Some last names I am researching in my paternal line that I couldn't fit in the tags are: Nutley, Hannagan, Magan, Durban, and Collins.

Sometimes it is more helpful to use tags for locations, rather than last names, and list the last names in the text of your post. 
Many of us, due to limitations of the number of tags we follow, tend to follow the locations of Projects where we are members.  (Seven of my 19 followed tags are last names, the rest are for projects/G2G interests.)

You might want to check out the project list. Projects usually have lists of regional resources that may help you with your research and break down some of your brick walls. The project list can be found under the Find drop down menu.
